As ABIS prepares to close its doors in 2025, we took a moment to reflect on and celebrate over two decades of meaningful impact in advancing sustainability in business and academia.
This overview captures the breadth of our projects, initiatives, events, and publications—each a testament to the incredible collaborations with our institutional and corporate members, as well as the dedication of our leadership, staff, and partners.
While the decision to dissolve ABIS was not an easy one, it is rooted in our commitment to closing this chapter responsibly and leaving behind a legacy that aligns with our purpose: fostering sustainable practices and transformative education.

NOTE! ABIS books, special issues and papers are available in the relevant databases and libraries. Most of the ABIS reports and the resources which were only available on the ABIS website, in January 2025 have been transferred on Zenodo, where they are stored under open access and can be accessed here: https://zenodo.org/communities/abis/.
