Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) launches its Sustainability Hub

One of our valuable members, the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), has always been highly interested in the field of sustainability.

The MMU recently launched its Sustainability Hub, that aims to facilitate collaboration, enhance practice, benefit professors and researchers careers, and increase the MMU's engagement as a leader in sustainability research, teaching and engagement.

It will drive conversation and collaboration, share news, and circulate sustainability-related opportunities to the 90+ colleagues listed in Chapter 4 ‘Our People’ of the PRME2023 Report, and always welcoming new staff, doctoral and post-graduate students, and alumni to join the project.

The Hub will represent the educational and research experience where it would be possible to:

  • Share good practice and new initiatives in education for sustainability, responsible management and professional ethics;
  • Foster collaboration on research papers, fund bids, and impact among partners;
  • Identify opportunities for the internationalisation of the work of the cooperating institutions;
  • Share news and strengthen connections with international external partners and networks (such as ABIS!)
