Two Marie Sklodowska Curie Proposals submitted for EU funding of EUR 5 Mio
On January 12, ABIS and 12 of our Members successfully submitted two major funding proposals to the European Commission under the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions programme (MSCA).
The MSCA supports the development of the next generation of researchers through international training networks. It prioritises new and emerging fields seen as central to the strategic goals of the European Union around growth, competitiveness, innovation and sustainability.
One of the most appealing aspects of this programme is its mandatory twinning of academic and industry partners throughout its projects. This ensures that young scientists spend part of their training inside companies, understanding and linking their research with commercial R&I, innovation management and other market-oriented systems and processes.
The two main themes underpinning our latest proposals are Sustainability-Oriented Entrepreneurship and Aligning Technology, Innovation, and Management for the Medicine of Tomorrow. If successful, the consortia will secure in excess of EUR 5 million in EU financing.
