Rudi Plettinx appointed as CEO of ABIS
Dear colleagues,
We would like to share with you that Mr. Rudi Plettinx has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of ABIS.
Mr. Plettinx is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in executive education, leadership and management development, leadership consulting, culture and change management. He has also been a member of ABIS in the early years of our organisation, representing the Center For Creative Leadership (CCL) as its Vice President.
In light of the last ABIS General Assembly and the approved changes to the ABIS Bylaws, which allowed us to introduce new governance practices for the upcoming years, he will take over the authority to directly drive forward relevant strategic changes.
This repositioning will yield plenty of opportunities both for our academic and corporate members in the areas of research, education and training, by collectively developing new solutions for the role of business in a global economy and society.
The 16th ABIS Annual Colloquium in November will be the next step in this direction by focusing on Leadership for a Sustainable Future: Business-Academic Collaboration on the UN SDGs for Long-Term Success.
