Marie Skłodowska Curie Proposal submitted for EU funding of EUR 2.7 Mio

On January 10, ABIS and 9 of our Members successfully submitted a major funding proposal to the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions programme (MSCA).

The MSCA supports the development of the next generation of researchers through international training networks. It prioritises new and emerging fields seen as central to the strategic goals of the European Union around growth, competitiveness, innovation and sustainability.

One of the most appealing aspects of this programme is its mandatory twinning of academic and industry partners throughout its projects. This ensures that young scientists spend part of their training inside companies, understanding and linking their research with commercial R&I, innovation management and other market-oriented systems and processes.

The two main themes underpinning our latest proposals are Sustainability-Oriented Innovation and Intrapreneurship. If successful, the consortium will secure in excess of EUR 2.7 million in EU financing.

  • If your organisation or institution wishes to explore the development of similar proposals in 2017, please contact: Dr. Ludwig Roger, EU Project Manager.
