Knowledge Alliance Proposal submitted for EU Funding
On February 26, ABIS together with Solvay Brussels School, Solvay S.A., Pirelli, LUMSA, Nyenrode Business School, ABN Amro and PwC successfully submitted a major funding proposal to the European Commission under the EU Knowledge Alliance Programme..
The main objective of our latest proposal is to create an Alliance for a Harmonized Teaching Tool of Sustainable Decision-Making Processes. If successful, the consortia will secure almost of EUR 1 million in EU financing
About the Proposal
This Knowledge Alliance aims at the creation of new tools and knowledge for better management practices and education of future managers on issues related to Sustainability for the greater benefit of the European eco-social environment.
Starting from companies' needs, a MOOC (Massive Online Learning Course) will be developed in 2 different EU languages, developing managers, recent Technical university graduates, senior business staff, SME representatives, and Teachers to not only become aware, but also action-oriented concerning sustainability.
The main features of the Alliance is a constant dialogue between Business and Academia in order to create new and innovative educational material. Adopting the concept of Knowledge Triangle, the Alliance will set up a series of workshops and seminars where representative from Academies, Business and Research will sit and exchange with a clear objective to find a common ground to develop new ways to teach and sensitive students and corporate staff on the issues of Sustainable Management.
