We are pleased to share with you a Call for papers from our member ALTIS Graduate School of Business & Society of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
The Special Issue entitled: “Sustainable innovation in small businesses” is going to be published by Piccola Impresa/Small Business in the first quarter 2023.
The special issue has the purpose of encouraging research on sustainable innovation in small businesses, as well as to facilitate cross-fertilization of ideas across research streams and communities traditionally focused on different institutional contexts. In particular, the SI will focus on:
- Antecedents and challenges of sustainable innovation in small businesses;
- Managing for sustainable innovation in small businesses;
- Contextualizing sustainable innovation in small businesses;
- Innovating for sustainable entrepreneurship and social innovation in small businesses.
Submission deadline: December 31st, 2021.

The Piccola Impresa / Small Business Journal aims to contribute to the study of and the spread of information on small-sized entrepreneurial firms, by offering an approachable space where those who do research in this field can freely share the results of their empirical studies and compare their theoretical reasoning and procedures. It is an academic journal with an international vocation, dedicated specifically to the investigation of and theoretical reflection on the administration and management of small businesses, their role in the economy, as well as the policies and regulations they face.
