Scenario Exploration System Workshop (SES) at the University of Westminster

This is going to be the second time that we will deliver the Scenario Exploration System Workshop at the University of Westminster.

However, this time we will be using it as an assesment tool during the hiring proces of future consultants for the junior enterprise Westminster Business Consultants (WBC). 

Marco Matrisciano co-created this special format of SES workshop together with the HR department of WBC and commented: "Today I will test with one of the most innovative junior enterprise of Europe the application of a game-based methodology for the assessment of their future staff of consultants.Together with the HR department of Westminster Business Consultants - WBC we will use the Scenario Exploration System – SES to assess more than 50 applicants strongly motivated to become the new staff of this pluri-awarded junior enterprise."

This game-based methodology requires candidates to use a series of soft skills while taking the roles of different societal roles in various socio-economic scenarios. Except for using soft skills such as negotiation skills, creativity, emotional intelligence, problem solving and critical thinking; they will leave with a better understanding of the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Today’s objective is to collect data on how game-based assessment can be used as an innovative tool to develop the soft skills required to thrive in an increasingly complex business environment, while simultaneously contributing to long-term social, environmental and economic (‘sustainability’) goals.
